Neo is told that he has been living in a "dream" world. so does a human being used as a battery not come alive or become real untill they are unplugged?
As weird and backwards as it sounds, it would seem that in the real world that is how it works. They are alive, just in an almost comatose state within the Matrix. But once they are unplugged, they are clued into reality.
Physically they are real, but technically they are not living in the real world. They are completley oblivious to the real world, and when they are plugged in they are in fact in a "dream world " .
they're real, but not sure if they're alive.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing they're still in a fetus-like state until they are awakened
