  3. Guys, just get rid of the extra 'http' and the link will work just fine. I'm about to watch the clip - I'll post again after I've watched it.

  4. This short film is one of the most moving things I've ever seen. It's hard to watch, but it's so well made, and it communicates without being preachy at all. The eternal optimism of the narrative voice-over is heartbreaking. I love this film. I might even have my Intro to Film class watch it!

  5. uuuggghh I feel stupid, never saw that extra http:// before

Wow that was simply amazing. I feel like there is nothing I can say about it because anything I say about it simply won't measure up to what the film actually is. I suppose if I had to say what it is about how working toward unrealistic goals, and persuing dreams in the face of imminent falure is po9intless and limiting. Instead of trying to make a good life for themselves in (Russia or some ex-soviet state?) the kids killed themselves trying to make it to California. It shows both the positive power of dreams (that they stayed together) and their potentialy disastrous consequences (the girl dies).
